robots are fun! here are mine, ordered from newest to oldest. please note that i know very little about transformers toys. the top priorities for me are cuteness and posability <3
my darling! my love! my beautiful husband tfp wheeljack. i got him at the tfnation minicon after a Whole Fiasco and oh i adore him. he is utterly adorable and also has a lotta accessories. four swords, three heads, a grenade, two little Things that go on his alt mode... hes got so much Stuff! and golly gee i do love Stuff. his alt mode is veryyy nice, he is so stylish and rolls sooo well. his articulation could be better but like ,tfp wheeljacks design is Bizzare, i dunno HOW hes supposed to bend those arms. and anyway he more than makes up for it by being soooo cute and lovely.
my pet horrible person!!! he is so pretty it is ridiculous. i am genuinely jealous of how handsome he is, both in face and in Giant Tit. i love his slightly judgemental stare. prowl is one of my favourite transformers (what can i say, i love a character whos objectively an awful person!) so i was utterly delighted to acquire him for relatively cheap! my dearest of darlings <3
at tfn i was trying to figure out wheeljacks transformation and had prowl chilling on the table, and two seperate people came up to admire him. the reviews are in, the people love mr prowl!
tiny tiny guy! theres this ginormous second-hand shop in my town, this three-floor Maze of the most random junk. its so rare that i buy anything, ill just go in and wander around for multiple hours. and they have a whole section for old old toys -- original polly pockets, a Load of star wars stuff, etc etc, and alsooo transformers! a whole cabinet of tiny, ancient transformers, of which i could recognise maybe three? and then there was this tiny but decidedly not ancient soundwave figure. he was too expensive but i got him anyway because its about the experience. i love his stiff posture and weirdly detailed hands.
the only thing better than transformers that are good is transformers that are Not. this TINY little man was a birthday gift and i love him with my whole heart and soul. his arms, they are so absurdly long. he looks furious. his alt mode is absolutely Not an ambulance, that is just a red and white van cmon. he is perfectly pocket-sized. i want to be buried with him.
my first transformer. i spied him in a smyths toys superstore and his catlike face completely bewitched me. look at him. fucking LOOK at him that is a cat. he brings me so much joy, hes just so adorable. his head is so tiny it looks like hes wearing a big jumper. i also really like his colours. theyre rather more desaturated and dark than his design in the film, and i think they complement each other so nicely. his alt mode is a little goofy since his arms are just like,. There. but i think its a delightful-goofy.
when i got him, my friend and i spent about thirty full minutes in a park trying to figure out how to transform him without the instructions. We Failed.
